The check-in starts at 14:00 and will last all day/night, but please let us know if you will arrive after midnight so we know to hold your reservation. The check-out time is before 11:00. If you arrive before 14:00 you may wait in the hostel and/or leave your luggage in our secure luggage room while you explore the city.
Yes, it is possible to check in any time of night. But, please notify us if you will arrive after midnight so that we know to hold your reservation.
Yes, we are taking measures against coronavirus, such as keeping distance/reducing contact, sanitizing surfaces several times per day, offering masks, and offering private rooms. In general we keep the dorms less than 50% full but please note this cannot always be guaranteed.

If you have a standard reservation, you can move or cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours prior to your arrival date.
If you have a nonrefundable reservation, and you have an official travel restriction, you can change dates free of charge. Contact us to send proof of the travel restriction and we can help you move your booking. Please note: if the new dates are more expensive than the original ones, you must pay the difference on arrival.
No, there is no curfew. You can walk in and out all day and night long. Note: The terrace outside closes at 23.00.

A taxi costs no more than €40.00.
No, we don’t serve breakfast. There is a supermarket (Lidl) across the street which has its own bakery, and we have a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. We also offer free coffee tea!
Yes, there are lockers in the rooms for your valuables. You may borrow a padlock for free.
No, the showers and toilets are separate from the rooms. They can be found in the hallways next to the rooms. We do have separate male and female showers and toilets.
No, we do not accept animals at the hostel.
Yes, we have a safe storage room for luggage which you can use free of charge.
You can rent a towel at the reception for €2.50.
Yes, your bed will already be made with clean linens when you arrive, at no extra charge.
Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi. It can be used in all the rooms as well as in the common areas. We also have a guest laptop that is free to use.
We have our own parking lot. Parking costs €10.00 per day and operates on a first come first serve basis. If you park at Dutchies Hostel you will receive a parking permit. We kindly ask you to place this permit so it is visible on your dash-board.
Yes, you can rent bicycles at Dutchies. It costs €12.50 to rent a bike for 24 hours. You will have to leave a refundable deposit of €50.00. The deposit can be paid with either cash or credit card.
Yes, if you want to print something you can send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with an attachment which we can print. Printing is free.
Yes, we do have laundry service for €5.00 (wash & dry). However it is not self-service. The staff will do your laundry for you and you can pick it up when it is done.
All rooms at Dutchies Hostel are strictly NON SMOKING, but you can smoke outside on the terrace. If you smoke inside, you will be charged €150.00 (includes electronic cigarettes).
Smoking of marijuana/hashish is allowed outside. Use of hard drugs is prohibited. If you possess or use hard drugs in our hostel, you will be told to leave the hostel immediately.
No, all ages are welcome at the hostel! Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that we do not offer cribs or changing facilities for babies.
The recommended maximum age for our guests is 40. However, people of all ages are welcome at Dutchies. Note: All beds in the hostel are bunk beds, and lower beds cannot be promised.
